COVER LETTER
Dear Fred Eisenberger,
With over 385 Locations across Canada and considered the largest fitness club in Canada, GoodLife fitness would be a large asset to the Hamilton Community. Since 1979 GoodLife Fitness has been helping not only adults, but children in the fight against obesity. With that in mind, we have enclosed a media kit that we would like the opportunity to promote using the local Hamilton News Papers.
Enclosed within the media release is information regarding our programs available for children, details about our success with fundraisers, as well as a piece detailing what separates GoodLife Fitness from other gyms.
GoodLife Fitness prides itself on its work with people of all ages. Encouraging both members, and non-members to strive to achieve the good life.
The ‘good life’ as Patchell-Evans describes in his book is not just achieving one's peak of physical fitness, but rather what separates GoodLife from other gyms is it’s redefinition of what ‘fitness’ should mean. Here at GoodLife, we recognize that there is no ‘perfect’ body. Rather, there is a perfect you. We would like the opportunity to spread information about our club not only promoting a healthy body, but a healthy mind.
That being said, only 1 in 25 Canadian’s is a member of GoodLife Fitness. With the upcoming election for a new mayor of Hamilton we would like to propose a partnership. In addition to your campaign, the GoodLife Team would like to promote the Spin4Kids Fundraiser that in previous years, has raised over $980,000 dollars (Fitness, 2016). Promoting this during your campaign for reelection in 2018 will help you to further secure the votes of parents throughout Hamilton who only want the best for their children. Pairing your campaign with GoodLife Fitness will show your passion for youth as well as healthy living.
We hope that you will consider this partnership and we look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Toronto’s GoodLife Fitness Team
